A comic drama full of quirky surprises and visual humor about a young man who makes a living by convincingly playing all kinds of roles in the private lives of his clients in exchange for payment.
Matthias is a master of his trade. He works for a company called “My Companion – Rent a Friend,” where, on request, he takes on the role of the perfect partner for any occasion. Without difficulty, he can turn into a music-loving companion for an elderly lady or the perfect son of a bitter old man. He can also be someone who helps you learn how to argue with your spouse. But his job has a disastrous effect on his private life. Sophia, tired of his indecisiveness and lack of conflict, as Matthias politely fulfills her every wish, announces that she is leaving him. She does so with simple words: “You are no longer real!”
