Izola City Library invites you to the BOOK PRESENTATION of “RETURNING HOME” by author Alenka Kranjac.

The book is brand new—a fresh story full of inspiration, challenges, and hope. It is a continuation of the novel Vilinska kri ali tovarišice prav posebne sorte, which was also included in the Primorci beremo reading programme. The story follows Manja, a young woman facing life’s challenges who, through a series of unexpected circumstances, inherits a small Istrian house. It is a book about friendship, disappointments, and the journey toward a better life.

Alenka Kranjac is a versatile artist from Koper: a folk singer, writer, creator of crocheted dolls, and the author of the books Vilinska kri ali tovarišice prav posebne sorte (2018), Mara (2019), and Ribič Livio – Livio il pescatore (2022).

The presentation will be accompanied by music performed by Marino Kranjac.
