Duo Zajtrk consists of Laura Krajnc (violin, vocals, and tambourine) and Sven Horvat (guitarist, vocals), both lovers of fairy tales, stories, funny anecdotes, and theater. All of these elements are intertwined with their musical creations. Genre-wise, they are very open, using genres to support the emotions and stories in their songs. Their compositions blend folk and ethnic music with punk chanson, cabaret, jazz, blues, pop, and rock into a hard, alternative singer-songwriter expression. In summary, Breakfast is an ethno-chanson duo. Above all, they strive to preserve the Slovenian language in their lyrics, maintain social criticism and wit, preserve the autonomy of creativity, promote good humor, and bring folk elements into their music. Their music reflects, above all, an interest in human beings and in their comic, rebellious, confused, tragic, unhappy, and happy lives.
