Izola has its own rap. And that rap has a name – Drill.

A coastal rapper, songwriter and producer who has been creating on the Slovenian hip-hop scene for more than two decades. Under his real name Andrej Bučar, he began his journey in 2001 in the duo R.I.C., and today he performs as a solo artist and founder of the Komora label.

In his music, Drill combines raw hip-hop, a coastal vibe and personal stories. His tracks talk about life, the city, ups and downs – often also about Izola and the coast, which have strongly shaped his style.

Over the years he has released several albums and collaborated with many artists from Slovenia and the wider region. His style is marked by strong beats, direct lyrics and authenticity, which has earned him a loyal audience at home and abroad.

Drill is one of the voices of the Slovenian rap scene, proving that even a small coastal town can produce a powerful sound.
