Marino Kranjac, an Istrian folk musician, together with Andrea Alessio, a native of Trieste, form Adriavox - together they have released an important music album, which is a unique contribution to the preservation of the cultural heritage of minorities in Slovenia.
Marino and Andrea, on the initiative of all three Slovenian Italian communities in the Coastal Towns, have produced a music album 'O, senti tamburin', which brings together 16 vocal and instrumental pieces.
Most of them come from Giuseppe Rádole's book Canti popolari Istriani, most of them in the Istrian-Benetian dialect.
The album is not aimed at stages and concerts, where communication with the audience would only go in one direction, but the creators want and encourage singing together. The album is a unique contribution to the preservation of the cultural heritage of minorities in Slovenia.
Organistors: Self-Governing Community of the Italian Nationality of Izola in collaboration with the Self-Governing Communities of the Italian Nationality of Koper and Piran
