The band Gedore has its roots in Koper. Their musical journey began back in their high school years, when the group came together as a garage band, united by their shared love of music. Today, the band consists of six members: Tomaž Boškin (vocals, accordion, keyboards, trombone), Mitja Bobič (keyboards, trumpet, vocals), Marko Hrvatin (guitar), Marko Toškan (drums, vocals), Simon Markežič (bass guitar), and Jan Baruca (guitar, vocals).
Their repertoire is diverse – in addition to popular hits and lively songs, they also perform Dalmatian music and pieces inspired by the local Primorska culture and dialects. Gedore’s music often combines instrumental virtuosity (such as accordion and trumpet) with an infectious energy that gets even the most reluctant dancers moving.
Their performances always create a relaxed atmosphere full of singing and dancing – the perfect choice for a festive December in Izola!
