The Izola Male Choir has succeeded the long-standing singing tradition of the seaside town of Izola, where various mixed, male and other vocal ensembles have successfully performed in the past. It was founded in 2005, then under the leadership of an experienced choirmaster, Mirjana Bonin, who remained faithful to the choir for more than five years, carrying out the difficult and very important initial work of this ensemble. Today, the choir's repertoire includes folk and art choral compositions by various authors, nations and themes.
