The stage of Ice Island will be taken over by the band Piran Express. Their story began in the autumn of 2020, when guitarist Dare Ravnikar and Gianni Collori decided to bring rock hits from the 1960s and 1970s to life in the coastal towns. Since then, the band has evolved into a true original ensemble, creating socially engaged lyrics and a fresh rock sound.
In 2023, they released their first album, and are already working on new songs for their next record. On Ice Island, they will perform both original songs as well as evergreen hits that always get the audience on their feet.
The members of Piran Express are:
Darko Ravnikar Dare (lead vocals, guitar),
Gianni Collori (guitar, vocals),
Andrej Žibert (bass guitar, vocals), and
Boris Šik (drums).
