"Wild Strings Trio" was created in Ljubljana in 2014 as a collaboration between Slovak jazz violinist Petra Onderufova, French classical cellist Toby Kuhn and Slovenian ethno guitarist Aleksandar Kuzmić. The trio is united by a strong enthusiasm, a deep commitment to each other and to themselves, and a shared passion for creating a unique sound in a distinctive performance. They have risen to the challenge of mixing and highlighting different musical genres on the way to finding their own and appropriate expression. From the Balkans to Celtic, jazz and classical sounds with a touch of flamenco, rooted in folk music traditions and improvisation, weaving around progressive arrangements and complex rhythms. Their music delights audiences near and far. So far they have toured throughout Europe, and their journey has taken them as far as Iran and Uzbekistan. Everywhere with the same goal: to share their enthusiasm, dedication and excitement with the audience present.
