Georges Brassens (1921–1981) was one of France’s most iconic chanson singers, known for his poetic lyrics and anarchist spirit. He released over 20 albums and received the prestigious Poetry Prize from the French Academy in 1967.
Although his work remains little known in Slovenia, Jani Kovačič, Dušanka Zabukovec, Aljaž Bassin, Nikola Matošić, and Klemen Bračko have prepared a live concert of his songs. The music is performed by trio+1: Bassin (guitar), Matošić (double bass), Bračko (violin), and Kovačič (guitar, vocals).
The event is held in Slovene.
In case of rain, the concert will be cancelled.
