Tretji kanu is an indie-pop band from Novo mesto that has been carrying stories of freedom, love, and friendship in its musical canoe for many years. Their songs are infused with gentle melodies, touches of melancholy, and hints of optimism, all blending into a harmonious dual vocal – the creative core of the band.

After two studio albums, V vesolje and Plovemo, the band released their third album in 2025. Their songs are frequently played on the national radio station Val 202, and they have also performed on the cult music show Izštekani with Jure Longyka, as well as in the special Izštekani 10 edition held at Kino Šiška.
At their concerts, Tretji kanu weaves together material from all three albums, occasionally enriched with selected songs from the musical tale of Little Snail Peter.
