Collective project of artists from Northeastern Italy
In the summer of 2024, the former railway station in Marano Vicentino (VI) became the venue of the Piccolo Festival sul Paesaggio, within which artists from Northeastern Italy exhibited collectively: Saverio Bonato, Davide Gasparin, Gianni Tiele, Miriam Elettra Vaccari, Roberto Zanini, and Kadez, who were also the initiators and organizers of the festival.
The project emerged from the need to explore the territory of Northeastern Italy through a lucid and disenchanted gaze, often drawing on the “relentless perspective” of the Vicenza-born writer Vitaliano Trevisan.
Through conceptually and technically diverse practices, the works develop a critical reflection on the “diffused periphery”, where landscape, memory, and transformation intertwine in complex ways. The exhibition thus takes shape as a shared passage: a visual and conceptual exploration of a space that is both familiar and foreign, where everyday life acquires new and unexpected layers of meaning.
