One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is a cult film directed by Miloš Forman in 1975, based on the novel of the same name by Ken Kesey. The story follows the rebellious Randle P. McMurphy, who ends up in a psychiatric institution and, with his spirit of freedom, disrupts the strict order imposed by Nurse Ratched. The film won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor (Jack Nicholson).
