The Race is an intense action film set in the illegal world of street racing. Ten of Europe’s most skilled drivers compete in an extraordinary race where they can win a large cash prize – and all the cars participating in the competition. At the center of the story is Andrei, a young and exceptionally talented mechanic who unexpectedly becomes entangled in a conflict between two rival drivers. As he enters the dangerous world of illegal road racing, it becomes clear that more than adrenaline is at stake: friendship, betrayal, and family ties hang in the balance. The Race combines spectacular scenes of breathtaking cars and daring races with a moving story about loyalty and courage – and the price one must pay when choosing to push the limits.
