Mother’s Day Concert 2026

You are invited to a traditional concert celebrating Mother’s Day.

A diverse and engaging programme has been prepared, one that will warm not only your hands, but above all your hearts. The School Wind Orchestra of the Izola Music School, soloists from the Izola Wind Orchestra, and the guest singer Ylenia Zobec Mihelič will perform, captivating the audience with her original compositions.

Tickets will be available from 2 March onwards at the Alga Gallery.

Ylenia Zobec Mihelič:
She began performing on major stages of the Slovenian music scene in 2001, when she appeared at the Melodies of the Sea and Sun festival. In 2003, she performed for the first time at Slovenska popevka, where she received the award for Best Debut Artist. Over the years, she has participated in numerous Slovenian festivals, including Melodies of the Sea and Sun (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2013), Hit Festival (2004), EMA (2004, 2006, 2008, 2010), and Slovenska popevka (2003, 2004, 2005, 2007). Slovenska popevka has brought her the greatest recognition and awards, as she was twice awarded Best Performer, and her song was also recognised as the best by the expert jury.
