OKI – Open Cellars of Istria 2026

The Winegrowers’ Association of Slovenian Istria once again invites you to join them at the region’s most recognizable wine tasting event.

On Saturday, 30 May 2026, Slovenian Istria will come alive once more in the spirit of togetherness, authentic Istrian stories, and exceptional flavours. Between 12:00 and 19:00, Istrian winemakers and winegrowers will open their doors wide. A day full of laughter, discovering wine traditions, and enjoying the very best our land has to offer awaits.

What can be expected?

This year’s experience is designed so that visitors can fully relax and enjoy themselves without worrying about driving. For a single price, everything needed for a perfect wine excursion is included:

A tasting glass and a convenient pouch, so it is always within reach.
A leaflet with a list of winemakers, serving as a guide through the Istrian wine cellars.
Organized transport, taking visitors to 3 different wineries.
Free tastings of premium wine samples at all participating hosts.

Tickets and equipment can be collected on the day of the event from 9:00 onwards at the info point in front of the Vinakoper wine cellar.

OKI is not just an ordinary tasting, but an opportunity to experience the pulse of Istria, chat with winemakers who pour their hearts into every drop, and spend an unforgettable day in good company.
