Creative Carnival Lab and Storytelling Workshop

This year’s edition, the fifth Creative Carnival Lab, taking place at ART KUHA / Art Odeon Gallery, is dedicated to the themes, colours, and forms of the seabed.

Participants will be invited to reflect on their own role within the underwater world – as a starfish, sea urchin, sea lettuce, or as a completely original marine character embraced by the sea as its own.

The event will begin with a marine-themed storytelling workshop, during which participants will jointly create a narrative of the sea world and explore characters that will later come to life as Carnival masks. This introductory part will allow for a deeper and more thoughtful creative immersion.

Participants are encouraged to search at home for materials, old objects, and discarded items and bring them along. Such materials often provide the richest source of inspiration for creating original marine characters.

As the creative labs are fully booked every year, advance registration is recommended via info.kvart@gmail.com. Participants are kindly asked to arrive on time, as places may otherwise be reassigned to other registered participants.

Participation is free of charge; however, the organisers welcome voluntary contributions in support of the programme’s continued development.
