I Swear (2025) is a Scottish biographical drama written and directed by Kirk Jones, based on the true story of John Davidson, a man living with severe Tourette’s syndrome. Starring Robert Aramayo, with Maxine Peake, Shirley Henderson and Peter Mullan, the film follows John from his troubled childhood in the 1980s through to adulthood, as he learns to live with his condition, confront stigma, and find purpose by raising awareness. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025 and was released in the UK in October 2025.
