An evening talk with writer, actress, translator and versatile theatre artist Maja Gal Štromar, featuring the presentation of her latest acclaimed book 7 kg do sreče.

Maja Gal Štromar, known from theatre stages, film screens and numerous literary publications, has built a long and vibrant artistic career, as well as extensive experience in teaching and sharing artistic skills. She spent her childhood and youth in Koper, while her academic journey later took her to Ljubljana and Paris. She has completed various international training programmes and received numerous awards for her professional work.

The richness of her personal and professional journey is reflected in her distinctive writing style, for which she has been honoured several times. Together with the author, we will talk about her life path filled with challenges, and especially about her latest literary work – the third part of a trilogy whose main character is the actress Mare Vodopivec from Izola.

The discussion will be moderated by Tanja Plešivčnik Zelenko (ART KUHA and KVART).
