The Municipality of Izola celebrates its municipal holiday in memory of the mass departure of the people of Izola to join the Partisans in 1944. On this occasion, awards and recognitions are presented to distinguished individuals and groups. The ceremonial programme is enriched by the performance of the Izola Wind Orchestra with guests: soprano Štefica Grasselli, tenor Gregor Ravnik, and baritone Jure Počkaj.
