Summer is just the right time to go to the seaside. Like all her friends, Jasmina really wants to visit the coast. But her mother isn’t too excited about the idea—Jasmina hasn’t exactly been on her best behavior lately.
So she decides to create a beach right in her own room. While searching for toys and other beach accessories she usually takes to the sea, she stumbles upon her mother’s old chest. Inside, she finds a book—a fairy tale titled "The Kind Little Pirate."
The story is about a kind-hearted little pirate who didn’t really like the sea. But he had a father who was the captain of a pirate ship, feared across all the world’s oceans. One day, the father told the little pirate that he would have to take his place…
