An Evening of Timeless Melodies
Elda Viler, the legendary interpreter of the golden era of Slovenian popular music, embarks on a farewell tour across Slovenia. With a concert program that embraces her greatest hits – Ti si moja ljubezen, Lastovke, Nora misel, Zlati prah imaš v očeh – she wishes to crown her long musical journey with a tribute to the audience that has followed her for more than six decades. She will share the stage with her daughter, Ana Dežman, a renowned singer of opera, jazz, and popular music, whose stage presence and vocal range will enrich this evening of memories, emotions, and musical excellence. Through duets and solo performances, they will intertwine timeless Slovenian songs, jazz standards, and soul, jazz, and blues music.
Accompanied by a selected trio – Miran Juvan (piano), Jože Hauko (bass guitar), and Peter Ogrinc (drums) – you can expect an evening of top-level musical artistry. This special concert promises an experience reaching deep into the heart – a warm tribute to creativity, musical friendship, and the bond between mother and daughter.
