Concert: Laibach - Slovenian Istria unites on the occasion of the National Day

The municipalities of Piran, Izola, Ankaran and the Municipality of Koper will once again organise a joint celebration of National Day with a concert in Tartini Square on Sunday, 25 June 2023, at 21:00. This year's rich music and visual programme will be closed by a performance by Laibach, with Srečko Šestan, Commander of the Civil Protection of the Republic of Slovenia, as the keynote speaker.
The organisers are expecting an increased number of visitors to the city of Piran and the entire municipality of Piran on National Day, and are therefore urging all those planning to attend the event in Tartini Square to leave their homes in good time and to use public transport. Visitors arriving by private car are asked to park in Lucija and Portorož. The city bus ticket costs EUR 1,50 per person. The city bus arrives at the main bus station in Piran. On Sunday, 25 June 2023, from 20.30 to 23.30, access to Tartini Square will be restricted from the entrance to the traffic calming zone at the Customs Pier. Access to the square will be restricted to intervention vehicles only.
In case of bad weather, the event will be held in the former Grando salt warehouse, where parking will not be possible and the number of seats in the audience will be limited to 600.
