The Nuns Are Singing is a new dance and singing performance (musical) by the Fužine Activity Centre (CAF) – a meeting and activity hub for seniors, directed by Kristjan Hacin and Ana Urbančič.
The show playfully reminds us that it’s never too late in life to try something new.
All the performers are young retirees who only began acting, dancing, and singing after retirement.
They even created the stage set and costumes themselves, showing that older people truly possess a wealth of knowledge and experience they can continue to share with society.
You’ll find the answer to all this in the musical, where members of the Fužine Activity Centre showcase their acting, dancing, and singing talents – all tied together by music from the film “Sister Act.”

The Fužine Activity Centre (CAF) is a community and activity centre for older adults, offering a variety of programs that help local seniors maintain their physical and mental well-being, enhance their quality of life, and nurture creativity after retirement.
The musical The Nuns Are Singing is already the third musical produced by their theatre group.
Tickets available in advance at the Alga Gallery and the Izola Tourist Information Centre (TIC Izola), and one hour before the performance at the Izola Cultural Centre.
