Folklore group Pfarrwanger Schuhplattler, Adlwang, Austria:

It all started in 1991 when young people from "Pfarrkirchen" and "Adlwang" had the idea to practice a special midnight interlude for dancing in their home village. The audience was so impressed by the performance that the group decided to continue and learn the dances further. Consequently, this was the beginning of the "Pfarrwanger Schuhplattler". Today Pfarrwanger Schuhplattler has 37 motivated members and has developed into a very successful folklore group. The "Pfarrwanger Schuhplattler" has already performed in various countries all over the world. Since their foundation they have visited 14 folklore festivals in twelve different nations.
