At the end of September and the beginning of October, Izola – more precisely, Ljubljanska Street (Largo pri Špini) – will once again host the Street Film Festival, called UFF (Ulični filmski festival).

This will be the third edition of this “small festival,” which was initiated by the activists of Ljubljanska Street, the association Izolani, and the team of the bar Pri Kralju. Once again, they will prepare four film evenings, presenting three documentary films, one short feature film, and a few episodes of a comedy series by a local author.

On Monday, September 29, at 7:00 p.m., the festival will open with the documentary BULDOŽER – Pljuni istini u oči. The film, directed by Varja Močnik, tells the story of the release of the first album of the cult band Buldožer and its influence on the entire Yugoslav rock scene of the 1970s. The film also has a local Izola connection, since the band’s drummer at the time, Dušan Vran – Cika, will most likely be present at the screening.
