Summary:
Zoran Predin: a rebel, a fighter for rights, a post-punker, a chansonnier. An icon of the Yugoslav New Wave. The film follows his journey from his youth in working-class Maribor, where he first got involved in music, through his peak fame with the band Lačni Franz, and into his solo career that cemented his iconic status. The documentary explores how Predin’s hits reflected both the social changes of the era and the turning points in his personal life. Along the way, we are guided by legends of the Yugoslav music, literary, film, and sports scenes, including Đorđe Balašević, Branko Đurić, Miljenko Jergović, Sašo Hribar, Gabi Novak, Jure Franko, Magnifico, Elvis J. Kurtović, Karpo Godina, Boris Cavazza, Peter Lovšin, Vlado Kreslin, and many others.
