Follow the trail of Izola's past and visit Izolana - House of the Sea, where the maritime and seaside character of Izola is shown through a series of documentary photographs, videos and various exhibits. Meet successful sportsmen from Izola, the famous cartographer Pietro Coppo and the former Parenzana railway, and learn about the evolution of Izola from an island to a peninsula through a 3D projection.
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, entry to Izolana will be free of charge and there will be 2 free one-hour guided tours of Izolana.
Schedule of guided tours:
- 11.00 to 12.00
- from 17.00 to 18.00
* places are limited. NO prior registrations are needed for the guided tour.
** Guided tours will be held in Slovenian and English.
