The Slovenian Jewellery Week 2023, which will take place from 11 to 19 May, is dedicated to contemporary jewellery designers who are often invisible or ignored in their profession, as the focus of this type of art is usually on the final product. At Slovenian Jewellery Week, the focus is on the makers. The ideas and thoughts that arise in their minds. The views and opinions they express. The emotions that guide them. The inspiration they let themselves be inspired by. Into the unique stories they tell without words. At Slovenian Jewellery Week 2023, we will not be focusing on those who wear jewellery, but on the relationship that jewellery makers have with their work, with the past and the future, with themselves and with the world in which they live.
Exhibitions and accompanying events will take place in Ljubljana, Maribor, Izola, Radovljica and Slovenj Gradec.
