Summer Museum Night: Izolana

On the day of the Summer Museum Night, the Izolana House of the Sea opens its doors. Opening hours are between 17.00 and 22.00.
Entrance to the boutique museum is free for all visitors.
Why visit the museum?
Together we will learn about the history of Izola,
We will watch a projection of the town that used to be an island,
we will talk about modelling - a dying craft and learn about the different ship models that modellers make - including those that are important for the whole of Slovenian Istria.
We will find out where the Venetian Lion is hidden and how fast (or slow) the Parenzana train was.
Finally, you will be able to see what our "Grandmas" were doing in the Delamaris factory and what was the added value of this former Isola factory.
