Izola will once again come alive in the spirit of the sea, sails and maritime heritage. In a charming seaside setting, the traditional regatta of vintage boats will take place, attracting many lovers of the sea and history.

This year, the event carries a special significance, as the Historical Boats Association Izola celebrates its 20th anniversary. At 11 a.m. the boats will sail out and parade in front of the town, followed at 12 p.m. by the much-anticipated regatta. The day will be enriched with an exhibition of historical vessels, children’s workshops, cultural moments, and the anniversary celebration with music and social gatherings.
