Children’s creative workshop: Little Sea Explorers
What is hidden in the sea around Izola? What kinds of boats once sailed along the Izola coast? And how do you tie a real sailor’s knot?
At the children’s creative workshop Little Sea Explorers, children will discover the world of the sea, Izola’s boats and life by the coast through play, exploration and creativity. The workshop takes place at Izolana – House of the Sea, where stories about the sea become the starting point for a fun and educational experience.
Children will tie sailor’s knots, catch fish, learn about Izola’s maritime heritage and make their own paper boat. The activities are designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and cooperation, while introducing children to Izola as a town that has always been closely connected with the sea.
The workshop is intended for children aged 6 to 12 and is an excellent choice for families who would like to enrich their holiday day in Izola with a creative, playful and educational activity.
