The Warm-Heart Fridge - Charity in the Holiday Season

We invite all visitors of Ice Island and local residents to join the donation campaign and help socially vulnerable families from our region with their contributions. Through the Warm-Heart Fridge, which is also being opened in Izola by the Association of Friends of Youth in cooperation with Radio Capris, you can donate basic necessities during December, throughout the skating rink’s opening hours, and thus brighten the festive season for those who need it most.

The Warm-Heart Fridge collects food with a longer shelf life, such as flour, oil, vinegar, pasta, canned tomatoes, pâtés, rice, barley, oats, lentils, beans, peas, and similar items. Personal hygiene products as well as cleaning and laundry supplies are also welcome. We will also be happy to receive new scarves, hats, gloves, slippers, and board games.

Individuals can make financial donations via SMS by sending the keyword OBALA10 to 1919. This year again, an easy mobile donation of any amount is available via a QR code, which will be published on the Radio Capris website starting Monday.
