Notice on the Increase of the Tourist Tax in the Municipality of Izola

We would like to inform you that the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Izola, at its 17th regular session held on 24 October 2024, adopted the Decree on Amendments and Supplements to the Decree on Tourist Tax in the Municipality of Izola under a shortened procedure.

What are the changes?

The Municipal Council of the Municipality of Izola has approved an increase in the tourist and promotional tax rates. The tourist tax will rise from the current €2.00 to €2.48, and the promotional tax from €0.50 to €0.62, making a total of €3.10 per person per day.

The new tourist tax rates, effective from 1 January 2025, are as follows:

• Full tax: €3.10 per person per day (of which €2.48 is the tourist tax and €0.62 is the promotional tax).

• Reduced tax (50%): €1.55 per person per day (of which €1.24 is the tourist tax and €0.31 is the promotional tax).

When does the change take effect?
