Share Your Town

I Share My Town is a participatory project by the Izola Tourist Board that puts local voices at the centre. Through short, straightforward questions, residents are invited to share – anonymously – how they experience and see Izola.

Each month brings a new question, opening up different perspectives on life in the town. People can respond on dedicated posters placed in 30 locations across Izola or online via a simple link.

Question 1: Where do you feel best in Izola (apart from home)?
Question 2: What is something only people from Izola understand?
Question 3: What is one experience everyone who comes to Izola should have?
Question 4: Where do you feel least safe in Izola?

In addition to collecting answers on posters and online, we will also gather responses in person each month. Short video statements will be regularly shared on Visit Izola’s social media channels. The project evolves with each new monthly question, while also presenting a brief summary of the previous month’s responses. These voices offer an honest glimpse into the thoughts and feelings of the local community.

I Share My Town does not aim for uniform answers. It encourages open dialogue and attentive listening. It presents Izola exactly as it is lived – through the eyes of its residents.
