From Izola to Trieste for a pleasant half day trip

Visitors staying in Izola can now enjoy a convenient direct connection to Trieste. The organised transfer makes it easy to spend half a day across the border without worrying about driving or finding a parking space. More time can therefore be devoted to sightseeing, shopping, local cuisine and relaxing by the sea.

Trieste is only a short drive from Izola, yet it offers a completely different urban atmosphere. Visitors can stroll across Piazza Unità d’Italia, explore the streets of the historic centre, enjoy a coffee in one of the city’s famous cafés or simply spend some free time by the sea.

Day trips on Wednesdays and Saturdays
Transfers from Izola to Trieste are available on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Departure is at 9.00 from Simonov zaliv and at 9.15 from Izola bus station. The return journey from Trieste is scheduled for 14.00.

The price of a return transfer on the Izola, Trieste, Izola route is EUR 26 per person. The transfer is organised for a minimum of two and a maximum of eight passengers.

Trieste in the evening
An evening trip offers a special opportunity to experience Trieste when its palaces, squares and streets glow under the city lights. Evening transfers are organised on Thursdays.

Departure from Izola bus station is at 17.45, while the return journey from Trieste is scheduled for 23.30. The price of the return transfer is EUR 40 per person.

The evening trip provides enough time for a walk, dinner, shopping or a relaxed exploration of Trieste by night.

Trip to Miramare Castle
A trip to Miramare Castle is also available on Fridays. Departure from Izola bus station is at 9.30, with the return journey from the castle scheduled for 15.00. The transfer costs EUR 30 per person. Admission to the castle is not included in the price.

Advance booking is required
Reservations must be made at least one day before departure. Passengers should arrive at the departure point ten minutes before the scheduled departure time.
