RES NULLIUS RETURN: A NEW ALBUM AFTER FIFTEEN YEARS AND A COMEBACK TO THE CONCERT STAGE
After a fifteen year creative break, the Velenje rock band Res Nullius is returning to the Slovenian music scene. The group, which made a significant mark on Slovenian rock in the 1990s and at the turn of the millennium, is regarded as one of the key names in the country’s alternative rock scene. With its distinctive sound, powerful stage presence and lyrics that often explore social and personal issues, the band has built a loyal following and left a lasting impression on Slovenian music.
Their albums and concerts helped shape a period in which Slovenian original rock music experienced an important creative boom. Over the years, Res Nullius have retained their recognisable, raw and direct expression, as well as their reputation as a band with a clear identity and an uncompromising approach to music.
The group now returns with a new studio album, recorded at Studio Pavarotti in Mostar under the production of Žare Pak. The new material is not based on nostalgia, but continues the band’s creative journey, remaining true to its energy and artistic principles while enriching them with the maturity and experience gained over the years.
