The third discussion evening dedicated to the sea will take place at “Pri Špini” on Ljubljanska Street, entitled The Sea as a Source of Food for the Future, featuring biologist, entrepreneur, fish farmer and President of the National Committee for the Ocean Decade, Dr Irena Fonda.
Journalist Dean Jelačin will talk with Irena Fonda about the current conditions and pressures threatening the Slovenian sea. The discussion will focus on the future of the oceans, climate change, our dependence on seafood and ways of producing it. They will also discuss how to create a better habitat for marine organisms.
The event is organised as part of the project EUSAIR Facility Point – Supporting the EUSAIR governance for improved cooperation, co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg IPA Adrion 2021–2027 programme.
