The sequel to the 2023 horror film follows the surviving characters from the previous installments, including Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox), Dewey Riley (David Arquette), Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown), and Chad Meeks-Martin (Mason Gooding). The screenplay was written by Guy Busick, while directing duties are taken over by Kevin Williamson, who has previously collaborated on earlier films in the franchise. When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott has built a new life, her worst fears come true as her daughter becomes the killer’s next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must confront the horrors of her past in order to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.
