12th Istrian Marathon: Road closures

On Saturday, April 11, and Sunday, April 12, the 12th Istrian Marathon will take place, this time starting and finishing in Koper. To ensure the safety of runners, certain routes and road sections in Slovenian Istria will be closed during the event.

ROAD CLOSURES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF Izola

Polje Street and Prešeren Road to the junction with Industrijska Street (Technical Inspection station) Full road closure 11:00–13:00
Industrijska Street from the Technical Inspection station to Butan plin (behind MOL petrol station) Full road closure 11:00–13:00
Livade Road from the roundabout with Lenin Street to Južna Road, then along Južna Road to Elektro Primorska Pedestrian and cycling path closure 9:00–13:10
Parenzana, from Južna Road across Livade (through vineyards) to Šalet tunnel Full path closure 9:10–13:10
Parenzana, from Šalet tunnel (Dobrava) to Strunjan Full path closure 9:20–13:00
