The tourist train operates on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9:00 to 17:00.

The tourist train begins its journey at the stop in front of the Tourist Information Centre, from where it departs every full hour.
The first ride starts at 9:00 from the stop in front of the Tourist Information Centre (Sončno nabrežje). From there, the train heads towards Hotel Delfin and continues to Simonov zaliv, home to one of Izola’s most popular beaches. It then climbs up to Belvedere above Izola. During the ride, passengers can hop off and reboard with the same ticket when the train returns one hour later.
From Belvedere, the train descends back towards Izola and continues along Morova Street, Dantejeva Street, and Cankarjev drevored to the parking area at Merkur, which is an ideal starting point for a walk along the coastal road. One of the stops is also at Jadranka campsite.
On the way back towards the old town centre, it stops at the Ladjedelnica parking area and, before completing the loop, also near the beach at the Lighthouse.
The full ride takes 1 hour.
The ticket price is €6.00 for adults and €4.00 for children.
In case of bad weather, the train does not operate.
