Klapa Skala is a Slovenian musical ensemble that brings together experienced and dedicated musicians from different parts of Slovenia. Following a change in its line-up, the group performs with renewed creative energy while remaining faithful to its distinctive klapa sound, based on multipart singing and Mediterranean melodies.
The current line-up includes both long-standing members and new musicians who have brought additional energy and freshness to the group. Vlado Cverle and Matic Kotnik remain at the heart of the ensemble, using their experience to maintain its recognisable sound and stability, while the other members contribute to the rich vocal harmonies and diversity of interpretation.
Klapa Skala is known for its emotional performances, powerful vocal harmonies and authentic klapa style, which connects the tradition of Dalmatian music with the Slovenian musical landscape.
