Mojca and Klemen were exploring Izola at the start of the summer. We – the locals – secretly observed them. We were happy when we ran into them in the alleys, on the beaches and even in the countryside. However, they didn’t know how to handle some situations, so we figured they needed our help. I Share My Town is a participatory project by the Izola Tourist Board that puts local voices at the centre. Through short, straightforward questions, residents are invited to share – anonymously – how they experience and see Izola. Each month brings a new question, opening up different perspectives on life in the town. People can respond on dedicated posters placed in 30 locations across Izola or online via a simple link.
