Slovenian band The Dreams have been delighting fans of improvisational rock in Slovenia and abroad since 2011. In 2021, the band brought their creative ideas together on their debut studio album, Soul Job, whose songs have since become an integral part of their live performances. Every The Dreams concert is an explosion of raw energy enriched by creative improvisation—an experience that simply has to be witnessed live.
From the very first note of their concerts, The Dreams have captivated discerning music fans with their exploration of American jam rock and blues. Throughout their history, the music of the legendary American group The Allman Brothers Band has formed the backbone of their repertoire. They have gradually added classics by Eric Clapton, Gov’t Mule, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Band, The Marshall Tucker Band, Little Feat and other blues artists.
The band have performed more than 150 concerts in Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Croatia. In true jam rock tradition, they have welcomed numerous acclaimed Slovenian and international musicians to the stage, including Vlado Kreslin, Matevž Hamo Šalehar, Tinkara Kovač, Igor Leonardi, Dejan Lapanja, Zoran Čalić, AG Weinberger and Janez Zmazek – Žan.
Highlights of the band’s concert career undoubtedly include performing in front of a crowd of several thousand at the Vallemaggia Magic Blues festival in Switzerland and a concert with Vlatko Stefanovski at Orto in Ljubljana, marking the 50th anniversary of the release of The Allman Brothers Band’s debut album.
